What do you take with you on a trip to Costa Rica?

A nice moment, packing the suitcases! You get excited and are looking forward to the trip. This is a list of the most important things to pack for your holiday with Into Nature. You travel to a tropical country in a sustainable and fun way. We advise you to travel as light as possible. It is more convenient to take a backpack (of 15 or 20 kg) than a suitcase with wheels. The temperature in Costa Rica is between 25 and 30°C all year round, and around 15°C in the cloud forests. The sun shines with a high UV value. When packing, keep in mind relaxed beach days as well as walks in a humid rainforest. A large part of the year (especially at the end of the afternoon) it can rain heavily in Costa Rica.

Suitable clothing is, for example, clothing that you wear in your home country in the summer. You can bring clothes that you can donate to the local  people at the end of your stay. Bring quick-drying fabrics, because of the humidity and perspiration. Synthetic clothing dries faster and therefore usually smells less. Sweaty, black, red and less breathable clothing attract more mosquitoes. It’s better to wear white or other light colours, as you’ll also be less affected by the sun.
